Happy New Year, flisties!  I am celebrating by having one of those days where you have a bath, eventually, and then just put your PJs back on because you can.  Hurrah.  I was anticipating rampant hungoveriness, but went to the quietest NYE party imaginable (seriously: I have never tried so hard to make conversation with silent strangers in my entire life).  I haven't even managed to have a headache.  I might have to get drunk this evening, just in case 2009 gets ideas and thinks I'm going to health it up all year.

Stuff I remembered I was going to write down:

I introduced one of the Nice sisters to Supernatural.  Ahahahaha.  She found Flamey Mary entirely terrifying and hid behind a cushion.  I foresee complainy phone calls when she gets as far as Skin and there's ugly leftovers all over the place...

Ta to the nice person waving at me on the anonmeme.  You were very cheering, in contrast to the tedious git who spent much of yesterday harassing my inbox to complain that they were far too old and wise in the ways of the internet to be butthurt about having their post deleted.  Mhmm.  Very persuasive.  (Incidentally, when did there get to be >6000 members of [ profile] torch_wood?  That's just silly.)

I got Lost in Austen for Christmas, and it is even more lovely second time around!  The dvd tragically lacks the 'Downtown' scene (presumably they couldn't get the rights?), but otherwise it is aceness personified.  There must and shall be icons.  And me shouting the word 'bumface' at each and every opportunity.  BUMFACE.

And now I am going to watch Young Sherlock Holmes, because it is THE BEST FILM EVER.

I spent my New Years eve drinking tea and listened to my parents fighting over something lol

As for Torchwood comm - better start planning for series 3/OH noes only 5 episodes type drama. I think there shall be a lot of it.

By the time I realised Young Sherlock Holmes was on, it had nearly finished. Gutted. I love that freakin' movie, every time I see it, it gets better and better....
