I quite like Bessie the silly car. It's a bit like the clothes: so ridiculous it sort of moves into a whole new world of ridiculousness and thus gets away with it, somehow. But he is a bit smug, I think, and not in a fun 'hee, I'm so clever, get me!' kind of way.
